I am a personal website administrator, and I hope to place google adsense to my websites. For personal website administrator, how to choose keywords? Thanks!
Keep your keywords relevant to your content but high traffic it will help with your seo and site traffic
You need to do a proper Keyword Research. There are so many tools are available for keyword research which show the competition for a keyword. Google Adwords, word tracker, SEO Book's Keyword Suggestion tool, etc. are good keyword research tool which will be very helpful. Make sure that the keywords you finalize, are relevant to your content of the page.
Thumbs up Alan. First serious response here. I'm interested in your recommendation for useful KW research tools. Any favorites?
I'd recommend Market Samurai... great program, definitely worth at least checking out the trial to see how powerful it can be. It's always my 'go to' for KW research. Great training videos, and if you do end up purchasing it's a one time fee, which his always nice. Cheers, CcK
you should try to visit more and more site because when you visit more site you analyze what are the keywords which are best for promotion... or , you can go to google tools for keywords
Google Adwords is the best tool for keywords research. Make sure to compare competition with monthly searches volume. There are some "gold mine" keywords that many people searching for, but the competition is relatively low. Check out the print screen on this article: http://google-optimization.net/seo/keywords-optimization To do proper research you should do the following: 1) Use adwords tool - this will give you a lot of related keywords suggestions 2) Check "View Source" of your main competitors. There you find what keywords they are using 3) Ask you friends what words would they use to find sites on your topic/niche 4) Make a list with all keywords that you find. 5) Next to each keyword write competition volume (number of results you get in google when searching for this keyword) 6) Next to competition volume value write monthly searches 7) Choose optimum keywords (higher monthly searches with lower search results) My advise is to do SEO for these keywords first and later, when you site get some reputation from google to go for hardest keywords. If you do the opposite, then it will take you longer to monetize your site. Good Luck!
yes.. Use Google Adwords and select that keyword which is suitable for your site and have good traffic..
Choose those keywords which are related to your site. Use keyword research tools like Google Adwards Keyword Tools, Yahoo Averture. Choose keywords which has good competition.
If you want to choose the right keywords for your site, you must take note of this: 1. Your website's niche (must focus only on one type of niche) 2. After you know it's niche, use a keyword research tool (I normally use Keyword Winner) 3. Choose only keywords with low competition level, at least 3k-5k global & local monthly searches/trends, and must be short-tailed (2-3 words).
Hey man, I can't believe there are still KW Winner users left you're an extinct species friend. If it's comprehensive and up-to-date results you're looking for, head over to KeywordShack and check it out.
You're right, coz' I'm using it now and it's cheap. But Keyword Shack is too expensive because of a $97 monthly subscription which most IM's can't afford it.
