I managed to add the code to do the above, however the sides of the border are not showing on the Content. See here: http://www.pokeproject.net/pokemon-black-white.php What am I doing wrong.
The image (box.png) used for the sidebar has vertical borders, but there are none in the image (box1.png) used for the main content. That is a smart way of handling borders, but also confusing if you have not seen that trick before.
I would use CSS3 properties for that.. who cares about IE and browsers that do not display border-radius correctly. To use images for borders just slows down the loading speed.
@CSM.. of-course who cares about browsers. i feel from user prospective, this is a small space that need not to be concentrated but untill and unless the properties of border in CSS settles down, it becomes more easy and Error Free. It is better to check the website in IE especially after doing changes as it is the most used browser and it show all the errors while executing the application.
You ever heard of IE-CSS3? Check it here: http://fetchak.com/ie-css3/ It should do what you need without any graphics.. even for IE6+ I downloaded your box.png and stretched it to 1800x12px for box1.png Check it out.
