2010: the year "3D" and "shemales" became compatible words. Who would have thought...

    so ..
.. it looks like 3d Holographic Advertising is really starting to trickle out there more and more by the day.
Here's a (very uneventful) video from July 2010 - but the point i'm trying to show is that it really is 'hitting the streets' already:

the only 3d names that seem to be selling right now are dot com's... we have seen some pretty good 3d product names available in NON .com and they go untouched, so i think it may be hard to get anything substantial for this name at the moment.

best of luck to you in any event :)

I would stay far away from .info names, you will struggle to get rid of it, unless you have a plan to develop it?

    Good lcuck

    Everybody here should appreciate this...
... this is getting closer to what i have envisioned for a "3-D Web" and 3d websites ... conceptually, alone, this is great to see... as a 3d domainer and an overall fan of the web:

"Everyscape Taking A Social Approach To Building The ‘3-D Web’"

    http://searchengineland.com/everyscape-taking-a-social-approach-to-building-the-3-d-web-11737

"Everyscape: Google StreetView Meets Micosoft Photosynth Meets Yahoo’s Flickr"
    http://searchengineland.com/everysc...micosoft-photosynth-meets-yahoos-flickr-11461

    and here's a DEMO:
(you might just want to jump straight to the demo)
    http://www.everyscape.com/

    Now ...
    ... just IMAGINE the potential!!!

    Enjoy all!!

Thanks for the tip. Nope, no plans to develop it as of yet. I just noticed that 3donlinepoker was taken in pretty much every other extension so i swooped on it at a godaddy closeout auction. I will be more wary of .info in the future.

also one more i regged was adult3dmovies.co.uk any thought on this one?

    on dot info...

... i myself sold 3dCellphones.info for $110 and iain (from this forum) sold Porn3d.info for $400
    ... so they DO sell.

I probably have one of the best 3d dot info collections anywhere on the web and they constantly get hits... BUT... i have still only sold the ONE (out of about 350)

my dot US collection may even be better than the dot info's... and not sold one yet.

i believe they WILL sell, but it may take a year or two of renewals to do so, so consider that when buying (dot info goes back up to $7 a year after the first)
.... two years of renewals plus first year reg = $16 for three total years
.... if you think the name should get you more than that within the first or second year, it's worth it.

Hotelsex, they might but not for much, I mean 2 info sales out of 1000's of .info names registered is not much, and 99% they will just go to another domainer

Thats if .US becomes more popular, dont see it happening fast

Luxottica to launch world's first 3D glasses
Italian eyewear giant Luxottica said on Wednesday it would launch the world's first range of glasses for watching 3D films with prescription lenses through its US brand Oakley later this year.

Virtual island could revolutionize tourist trade sector
Three-dimensional versions of Mediterranean islands will be updated virtually automatically with current information from a range of public and private databases. The European research project may launch a “revolution” in the tourist trade sector.

With MedIsolae-3D you will be able to “fly over” Mediterranean islands and swoop down when something catches your attention. “Landing” on the beach or a village square, you will be able to move about, getting a feel for the shops, restaurants and attractions. You can make purchases and reserve tables. You can find a hotel - and if you like it you can book in. If you don’t find what you want, you can simply “swoop up” into the air once more and try somewhere else. Of course, you will do all this without stepping away from the computer on your desk.

    Well that is good news.
I am in the middle of starting to develop my 3dDatabase(dot)com. I have my work cut out for me because there is SOOOO much 3d information out there on the net.
I still like the trend for everything 3d now. The more things that go 3d the more my domain is relevant.
I am ecstatic, lets keep the news coming in.

    Cheers
