Foreclosure and Adsense???

Just wondering if anyone knows if Google takes your personal credit score into consideration when allowing you to have an Adsense account?

Long story short, my wife and I have an Adsense account that we rely on for some of our monthly income. We do have good credit right now but my wife has to relocate for work and we may have our house foreclosed on in the near future if we aren't able to find a buyer for it in time, which would ruin our credit. Does our personal credit score or anything else having to do with a foreclosure matter to Google as far as using the Adsense program?

My first thought is no that it shouldn't matter, but come on this is Google we're talking about here!

    Any input would be appreciated!

You'll be fine - remember its not like you're paying google money - so your credit score / credit history should have no affect on whether or not google will allow you to make them money.. know what i mean?

technically they do if you are running a personal account...

they have your SSN, full name and address.... believe it or not most employers run credit checks on their new hires.... however you find this mostly w/ jobs in niches like accounting.. ie: you don't want someone managing your finances if they can't manage their own finances..

What verification do you need? You can always ask at the Google official forum to verify this.

I had my bank details verified (small deposit under $1 and I had to tell them how much it was) and a pin in the mail but nothing further.

Credit checks cost money, I can't see Google doing one on all their basquillion publishers.

Google won't know about your credit score, otherwise they will be breaching privacy as they have nothing to do with banking sector.

Google, for sure, won't touch your credit score. It is beyond its province to get involved in personal financial matters. Just follow the written rules/policies of the Adsense Program and you'll be fine.

Actually, it's illegal to run a credit on someone without their permission. And, normally, permission means "signed" piece of paper (digitally or physically).

A big NO... Google does not care whatever financial status you may have.... Adsense is supposed to help people who are financially ill so why would Google bother your credit score? There are hundreds of thousands of Indians, Filipinos, Indonesians, Malaysians, Brazilians, Mexicans who have Adsense accounts and don't even have personal computers or even own credit cards..... Just continue making money with adsense....

Actually the reason I started looking into this is because while talking to an attorney about possible consequences of a foreclosure, he mentioned that he had a client who lost his eBay business because Paypal (hist payment processor for his auctions) ran a credit check and found that his credit had been ruined (due to a foreclosure) After finding this out Paypal terminated his account and he lost his business.

Also I'm pretty sure that credit card companies run credit reports on people all the time if they have an account with them, without them signing anything.

    Thanks everyone for your responses.
