The Republican agenda, philosophy exemplified by Bush produced the Great Recession the Republicans are trying to hide from - blaming everyone else for their failed results is why Bush remains relevant to the present elections.

Clinton and the Democrats produced balanced budgets and began paying down the deficit - is why Clinton has reemerged and is able to campaign despite his indiscretion - the same may not be possible for Bush as their mismanagement over time will only become more apparent and the culpability properly applied to their (corrupt) philosophy.

He is no longer President. Did you forget that? Historically past presidents do not make a habit of commenting or bashing new administrations. This has been true for as long as I can remember. And what exactly should he be campaigning for? He's no longer president and not running for any office.

The meaningless war you are talking about is Obama's war. The depression? Obama's too. Have you been living under a rock the last few years? Bush has been out of office almost 2 years.

    You are one strange kid.

With a full month before the elections there are many contrasting views for the above and not yet near a conclusion but one of them is not the Democrats mimicking the Republicans.

No Corwin, Obama is not responsible for the Great Recession - it was caused by Republican policy and a meaningless Iraqi war, and is exactly what the present election is being plied from grasping by those who were responsible but who have not yet succeeded in disguising entirely their culpability. The conspiracy will fail and the Tea Party with it in the ensuing month.....all hale the Liberals.

Believe as you please, there is no certainty for even the faithful but in reaching the outerworld as the path for remittance.

Then why is it taking so long for the mighty liberals to fix things? Like Mia said: it has already been two years, where are these "great changes"?

No, Breeze, Bush is not responsible for the Great Recession - it was caused by Democratic policy and meaningless trillion-dollar spending, and is exactly what the present election is being plied from grasping by those who were responsible but who have not yet succeeded in disguising entirely their culpability. The conspiracy will fail and the Democratic Party with it in the ensuing month.....all hail the Tea Party!

I have no idea what that means.

    EXACTLY!

Breeze, remember that liberal think tank of economists you were gloating about? Even they said the Recession took place while Democrats were in control of both houses of Congress. So in essence you are partly correct. Obama is not Solely responsible, but he is partly. He and his party however (himself included as then senator) are 100% responsible for it.

So democrats have had 4 years. Obama included. Two as a senator and two as the president. So far we are experiencing the results. I don't remember unemployment being in double digits 4 years ago.

That is why they were elected to congress, to end the awfulness of a meaningless, unfunded Iraqi war and reactionary policies that had driven the country into the ground.

The last two years have been nothing but ground braking legislation, one after another and all with the steady hand of Nancy Pelosi. The effects are in motion and just in time!!!

Healthcare in the last month alone will turn the tide from reactionary dead beats to the inspiration for the future.

Ground breaking legislation? You're a Keynesian, right?

Everyone knows more government intervention just complicates things and leads to greater inefficiency and cost.

You haven't read any of the Healhcare reform bill have you? It's a mess and highly unconstitutional. Why do you support socialised healthcare? Please answer this, and don't use the current situation as a reason, because we're all well aware that the current health system already has too much establishment intervention.

The Healthcare model in operation here - the mighty NHS - is a self-confessed "trust" and suffers because of it. If you really are naive enough to want decisions made for you, look forward to long, long waiting lists, massive taxation, irremovable public health employees, more debt and exclusive, government approved treatment.

Breeze, you seem to forget that the Iraq war was funded by our tax dollars, and that cost is insignificant compared to what the Dems have spent in the past two years. But then again, you won't respond to this because you have no use for facts, do you?

For sheer incompetence, this is only a small example of why the Republicans were voted out of office.

So poorly was the government run by the Republicans, a one term Liberal African American was elected the next President of the United States.

There was only ugliness in the Republican Iraqi war and it is the same ugliness that is manifested by the Tea Party movement that no more deserves recognition than Bush had in manifesting a meaningless war.

    ............

Be grateful for the Keynesian approach that has brought an end to the Great pub Recession.

This country now has a mandated Health Care System by law that is unquestionably the avenue for national health care the electorate voted for and will continue to support irregardless the reactionary TP and their pathetic self-interest zealousness.

Why has Obama repeatedly lied about bringing the troops home? If this war is so crippling, why is your god continuing with it?

I like how you keep clutching your statistics and newspaper quotes like they're the divine words of god, while never addressing anything anyone here asks you. Sorry to break it to you kid, but newspapers are always biased and full of semi-truths.

I honestly don't understand Breeze's last post. His second sentence seems to be a vaguely racist remark that an African American could only be elected President under unusual circumstances? That's consistent with Breeze's previously stated bigotry and religious intolerance.

BRUm - The Iraqi war is the meaningless one and the troops are home, per Obama and would be home from Afghanistan as well had the pubs not used politics over reason. - The Garden has nothing to do with wars, solve your own problems.

Corwin - Under any circumstances, much less those provided by the pubs is not racist but historical, and he won. - The Garden is nothing but tolerance but in contrast to Christian Crusaders what isn't.

So the war we won was meaningless. Sorry, "Bush's War" as you call it is meaningless.
    Obama's war (Afghanistan) is not.

Odd.... More people are dying in Afghanistan, and there's no American interests at stake. Seems to me that's the "meaningless" war.

Breeze why is it you continually try to speak in riddles? Are you using an English translator, on shrooms, or retarded?

Do you ever read anything Mia - 9 years latter, twice as long as WWII and there are still 50,000 troops in Iraqi, and you say it was won?....no other description than a meaningless war by mindless fools.

Then why hasn't Obama ended the wars? Even my country's military is no longer active in Iraq - or so we're told.
