The google will collapses this really not happen...but if it is then better to go through Yahoo and others.
Indeed, I hope no one relies and adapts only to Google's search results. It's said a thousand times before, and it'll be said thousand times again: Build websites for the people you intend to visit them, not for the search engines.
Not any company collapses they just go down. If this happens, others(Competitors) used to take advantage...
It would not collapse - if any startup would offer better search, Google would definitely buy that startup before it could even earn something...
OK, they won't collapse. But what if they get greedy. What if they started charging you for all hits over 100k per month? That's what I sweat about. We have 300,000 visitors a month and 600 sales. wiz
Do you think that if your website receives only 3% traffic from bing, then it will also keep giving that much traffic in case google goes down. my dear friend if google goes down ... the crowd will be on bing and you will align yourself to bing by asking questions at digital point and things will be same .. in this case Bing will be Google and you will be receiving 3% from Google on those days
The best piece of advice I've received recently is not to rely on Google, Bing, or Yahoo. Use them as a temporary solution to building an email list in your niche. Let's just say that all the search engines in the world decide to turn against all of your websites. If you built a strong email list you wouldn't have to rely on the search engines...
Grimm, They wouldn't be "random advert emails" if they signed up for your list. If you give your email list value, people will open your emails. If they don't like your emails, they can simply unsubscribe.
That would then depend on how you keep your subscribers interested so that they'll keep coming back. Then again, search engines will always be around, one dies and another is reborn, such is the cycle.
