Hello I am a SEO and recently got into Domains biz. While searching domain names I usually found domain names with high search volume but all .org or .net Lets say.. Monthly searches over 12,000 How much it worth and how can I increase its value?. Obviously I have to spend a lot of money to rank it due to high competition. For example: freedrinks.org , bestbrand.net Really appreciate a help! Thanks RG
There is a lot of ways to increase its value 1)First of all you should not park it using your registrars domain parking service . Rather make a one page website and put a relevant article on it . 2)You must do all on page activities (it will not be problem because its one page website.
If you are not willing to spend money on developing a site and improving its serp.... I guess the name/extension would not entice people to give you much higher value than what it already commands. In short... you got to add value to it... to be able to get a good profit from it. Regards, RightMan
First off, you will easily get a lot of them with 12k monthly searches. So, I don't think if they will worth good enough to get you some good bucks. However, if you are still looking to increase its value, you can simply set up a site and increase its traffic and as you do SEO, I believe you are probably well aware of these tactics.
.org have same value then .com if you noticed some of gud website have .org extension dmoz , seomoz and many more
well, this is the case with only some of them and established ones, of course but the fact that nobody can ignore is that you will not get the LLLLL.com even for $XXXXXX but same domain with .org TLD for $XX. I know there are some exception to this but I don't think if it makes sense chasing the exception.
just Buy .org Domains and Hosting it.. then Install Wordpress and Developing a Unique Blog with More Articles Then You Can earn More money by it
.Com always the best, the second would be .org and .net is the third (thats my opinion), and with proper seo optimoziation (off page and on page) you could rank high in SE. and I think you're expert in this area
..org does sometimes seems to rank well in SE, try to build and optimize your site first. If you get at the first page then you can have a go at selling it with a good price depending on the traffic received.
