First off, is it travel blog? :) I know you might have puzzled this with previous one. And when it comes to my thoughts regarding this all-new blog, several things to be worked on. :( All I can see right now is a free theme with a few contents. Hope you would take me positively.

Not something I'd recommend . Almost half the space is wasted whit only the left part being any good . And the ads are kind of in your throat . You should redesign . I couldn't even read the articles because of the ads and the spacial configuration .

ok again just have to repeat, first need more content. You shouldn't have more ads space than your content page.
2nd there's no need for double column on the right, Remove the Calendar and may be use a bigger/different font for your main contents. Over all good idea. you can check out the competition, depend on which style you are going for.

    Design

    1. Banner is okay however there's a green box on the left side without anything on it? Are you saving it for some use in the future?
    2. Social bookmark widgets (Share this on Facebook, Tweet this, Digg this, etc..) is a must-must for blogs. Great content and information should be shared to others! This can also be another way of getting backlinks and viral marketing.
    3. IMO, I don't really suggest having the Google Ads (on the first two posts) mixed with the context. Takes up too much space and I'm a bit distracted when reading the first paragraph. How about having banner ads on the sidebar instead on the context space?
    4. Putting a couple more widgets can also develop a good UI and user experience for readers. Just don't put too much on it. You wouldn't want to make it look like a Christmas tree with all the decorations around.
    5. Cross Browser Check - Okay.

    Optimisation

    1. Title tag is a bit short ain't it? Try adding more relevant context on it or another keyword that you're targetting for.
    2. There's no meta description. Although Google doesn't give any ranking factor to meta tags anymore, it is still useful for a searchers point of view in which can lead to getting high traffic. The more interesting the description is, the more chances of getting more traffic.
    3. Potential Duplicate pages - http://www.financeguideblog.com/?search=asldaslkdas - You'll have to block this auto generated pages in your Robots.txt so as to avoid any possible duplicate issues.
    4. Page Speed - (87/100) Quite okay but you can get it more faster. Enable javascript compression, minify CSS and have a java on the bottom part of your page source so that they'll be the last ones to load.

    Hope that proves useful. :)
