Yes, almost everything on a website will impact its SEO. Some positively some negatively. A CMS can be either depending on how its implimented and how you've built your site using it

If its indexed in Google, then it must be gone through algorithms of SEO . In your case it CMS, but apparently there is no direct effect on SEO, but template, css validation , content ,url format etc surely effect , good and bad both.

Thanks for your reply. I haven't found any difficulty in content, url format or template. Will there be any problems in menu structure? Will the inner pages given in the drop down menu be crawled and indexed by Google?

Depends how the drop downs are created, with CSS it should be fine, with javascript then it may be a problem but that is irrespective of if the site is CMS or static HTML driven
