wow, I've noticed a big change in the datacenters over the past few days. Almost all have been updated.. Two or three more to go..
Way too many high PR sites appearing, i.e. PR6 and PR7. Somethings afoot, I can't see this PR holding out long. I'm hoping it does, but my gut is telling me otherwise. Can I ask why people are selling sites and links based on a PR update which has not moved on to the toolbars yet? It's crazy! Check the PR properly if your buying links or sites.
That's payback. High Yahoo ranking Adsense sites regularly get booted off into cyberspace for no good reason. The main difference is that Yahoo appears to hold it's YPN sites up in their rankings better than Google holds it's Adsense sites up. Interesting.
At last cound I had 23 sites go pr6, with all being pr4 and under. Had 10 sites go pr 5 and a few went to pr4 - Only one site went pr7 and that was http://www.macmillanonline.net
At his point all my sites are holding steady and one went up by a pr factor of 1 in the last 2 days. Is this a temporary thing?
The odd thing I'm seeing now is a number of my sites showing an old cache date. I go to McDar, and all of the sudden ALL DC's show the same damn old cache date. I update the sites, push the sitemaps repeatedly, yet Google continues to give me a last-updated cache of 9/18/06 (12 days old). Worse, the snippets used in the serps don't change either, which is horrible for me as I've got one of these snippets I had to change as it was duplicating (&filter=0) with another page on the same serp and disappearing. So, I've got problems here. Really hope things sift out. Anyone else having problems with cache not updating? If so, what do you do about it?
Now, it's a time to make money http://www.alexa.com/data/details/t...y=r&url=http://livepr.raketforskning.com/#top Today Traffic Rank: 483
cliff notes someone? I've been away for a week so I've missed this entire thread. Has it been rolled back? Is it updating older domains?
3 of my sites have now all PR4 pages except for the links pages that still have PR 0...Could this be an indication that Google puts no/too little weight on the links coming from link exchange?
I agree and I still think we have another week to go before the dust settles. It would seem the dampening filters have not been applied as of this time. The amount of PR 7 8 9 sites now being mentioned seems out of the oridinary compared to updates in the past. Sure you can ask....simple answer : Greed Peace
Link exchange with a relevant quality site is always good, but exchanging links with a site full of crap or with a banned site is certainly no good. Google puts weight on links from relevant quality sites.
