Can you please review ad placement on my blog at http://www.visionground.com?! I had same sources of traffic for last few months and I didn't receive a single click and I received 7 clicks today! Why? I think I should put only image ads on post pages! What do you think?

    Thanks!

    He means ads for hostgator.

Some niches are like that, if your traffic is a bit low you find you've only got the same ad.

Obviously you don't know how Adsense works. Adsense is a 3rd party that displays relative ads depending on a site's content. Hostgator is advertising using Google Adwords/Adsense and the robot thinks your site is one of the many sites that the Hostgator ads should show up on. I see it as well. It's not a direct ad, just displayed through adsense.

I know that Bradley but what does it have to do with this thread? Next time it won't show HostGator ads...it will show something else and still NO clicks...

Ok I take back my internet rage. Try text ads cause sometimes google can server general images ads (depending on how influential an advertiser is) that are not relevant to your content (e.g. forex, hosting)... but your site deals with webmaster stuff so I dont see why it is a problem. Just try and get more traffic and see how it plays out. It's hard to tell from slower traffic since clicks could go either way depending on the day

When I visited it a few minutes ago, I saw two banner ads from AdWords. I clicked on one of them, because I was interested in the $75 voucher. Maybe, people like myself, are wanting vouchers - thus you are getting clicks?

I've just tried image ads on the sidebar but they don't work so I will try with text ads. Top square banner works better with image ads!
