Stay to the subject and answer to the questions (or questions containing keywords) relevant for your business. That way, your backlinks are justified.
Not that I am aware of, but the more best answers you get you get a top contributor label which means folks can trust you, especially when you recommend a site (yours )

Yahoo answer is no follow but if its a good question/answer, it can rank high in yahoo SE for a while so you can get a small boost in traffic from it. as long as you add, http:// to your website url in the answer it will link
