need some help with my wordpress site..

    i have a wordpress site....

    articles havent been written much lately but if i am writting a new article every 1-3 days what else should i do to start getting traffic?

    how do you usually start up your wordpress site?

    Pinging basically just lets them know you've just updated your content.

    For traffic - keep writing your articles, but try to write more than what you are currently if you want a steady flow of search engine traffic.

    Start a subscriber list.

    Do some SEO on your blog by getting rid of irrelevent links. Look for some plugins like this to help your search engine results.

    Turn your posts into articles for submission. Change them around so they're not the same, and if you start a newsletter, add that link to your author bio box.

    Start exchanging and purchasing links.
