1. Overall I think the blog design looks nice. 2. The blog should identify the people behind it. Right now, I don't see an author's name with each post, and I don't see any people identified in the side bar to indicate who is responsible for this blog. I don't care to read any blog that doesn't identify the people behind it. I follow blogs because I trust and respect the writers. 3. The 468x60 banner ad at the top is overlapping the title of the blog. That should be obvious to you.
I completely agree with Steve Johnson in that you need a logo to identify your web site and to make it look more professional. Also, as Steve Johnson has mentioned, the banner is overlapping the title.
