Which one is better?

    I was wondering which one of the following is better from search engine (google) perspective?

    1. 100 backlinks from a single website/forums.

    2. 10 backlinks each from 10 different websites/forums.

    I am assuming same PR for all the websites/forums. Is there any difference at all for search engines?

    Hi, there no doubt the second option is better.. As link from different sites will count as different votes to your site..But link from one domain will be counted as only one vote..

    Hi,

    I think 2 option is better but if these websites are relevant to the main site, Or if they are not relevant they no profit with 10 links, then only 1 link (100 Sub links) more powerful than any other.

    You should go for the second option, building back links for your web site from different web sites is definitely better than building back links from one web site, not to mention that the first option is riskier.

    pr of the web site
    total no. of outbound links on page.
    total no. of inbound links.
    subject of website
    Ip address of the website
    the kind and no. of site linking to that site from which you are getting a link...

    1. one person says good things about you a hundred times
    2. ten persons say good things about you each ten times
