when I try to type something, it changes again and again and makes me feel dizzy. I also concern that it costs too much computing for them therefor ---> global warming... :p

Yes, I too find it very annoying. I turned it off in my Google settings.

Global warming? because it needs more servers to get instant? I don't about the effects the servers could do to nature but Google instant is something like a person in your conversation keep interrupting you and finishes your sentence even before you complete which makes real embarrassing! However, there isn't much change in the ranking results. But I've found that some of the local results like displaying maps to particular home keywords have gone disappear.

Yeah, the Instant is pretty annoying. I turn it off every time it pops up. I'm sick of it being the default too.

opt out. it won't come back.

Didn't you hear their new motto? It's no longer "Don't be evil." Now it is, "AJAX: Because we can!"

It feels like Nokia's T9 dictionary. Maybe with time when we understand how to use it properly we'l make our searching more efficient..just like T9 makes texting so much faster :)
