No compromise. Either you watch the video or you just slink away elsewhere.

    Next person, please.

Having seen this interview, I have to say Clinton should know better than to fall into a trap like that. He should have resisted the temptation to pimp his initiative on Fox News, as it was only ever going to end up in trouble.

I think the recent showing of Bush doing similar antics is interesting. I dunno if there are web links to it.

I hated Clinton while in office. But even at that, I think he kicked that reporters ass good and I commend him for it. Rather then poke the guys knee, he should have punched him in the nose.

Now that would have been funny!

You can directly link to that YouTube video of Bush:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjB9uMUM6xI&eurl=

It's a clip from C-SPAN's coverage of a press conference with President Bush and President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan (September 26, 2006). The clip is Bush's response to a reporter's question "Former President Clinton says that your administration had no meetings on bin Laden for nine months after he left office. Is that factually accurate? And how do you respond to his charges?"

Thanks for taking the time to post the link. I watched this live. Bush took the high road by not attacking Clinton for his remarks.

People attack Bush for not doing enough before (basically doing what Clinton did) and attack him after for doing too much. Damned if you don't, damned if you do. Seems like everyone but the actual terrorists are attacked any more.

Maybe if we were not bogged down in Iraq policing people that want us gone, we could go after some terrorists.

Maybe we could send 600 to 800 after OBL rather then 40 next time. What a novel idea.

We're doing that in Iraq now. Terrorists from all over the region have flocked to Iraq seeking virgins.

Besides, you'd just complain no matter where we are.

I saw the show. It was great TV. Clinton was pissed and went off.

Nothing wrong with that. In fact its refreshing versus the polished President we usually see on TV, whether Bush, Clinton, or elder Bush, whomever.

Its refreshing to see a part of the real guy...even if in this case it was the pissed off version of Clinton.

Then I watched some political talk shows. right wingers said it was a boon for conservatives. left wingers said it was a boon for liberals. guess that just all depends on your point of view.
