It's quite good design, however, I would make the link to the forum more visible or perhaps make it the homepage with a link the the blog page. One problem is that everyone and their brother has a webmaster forum so if you are gonna make one you need good content. Perhaps hiring a few people to post for you would be helpful. Check this out for if you're looking for forum posters-: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=102. A good rate is between 5 and 10 cents per post.

If you don't have the money for this, you should try and become an extremely active poster yourself and try and persuade friends and relatives to help you.

 

good theme, change some detail can make better. for example, in left sidebar, the font color of h3 should more contrast, black is not best choice.

Very good work.theme is slight simple but good.my suggestion is to make it more attractive by using other color shade.

 

Any suggestions on which colour and where to implement the colour?

@Sandy McCallum I have added a button to the forum on the homepage, also a button to the download section, this will make it alot easier to get the the sections.

skip the first page and make a menu link to the articles! ! you loose visitors now! they can not fiind the link to forum page

 

I think everything is pretty much in place... just put more focus and attention on driving bloggers to register and participate cos your idea is not really new so you have gotta give bloggers a damn good reason why they would come back again and again to use your site.

The Forum and Download button on top left doesn't fit correctly. You should have that look at.
Other than that, I like the format simple and easy to navigate.
