Google Instant... How did you like it?

I noticed the great feature in google search. we can enable instant search just beside search box and it searches the results while you are writing the search term. amazin feature. but does that affect the seo efforts?

 

yes it is good for helping search terms but i think is effect seo efforts.

 

Some say it will, some say it won't. I guess we'll have to let time tell. personally I rarely go to google.com and then search anyway, I justr use the search box in my browser - I suspect a lot of people are like this.

 

Does not affect the way we do SEO, only what we may end up targetting

 

I don't see it really effecting the SEO process. However when they did roll out instant they did update the algorithm and we saw some interesting results.

 

Econsultancy says that "Some, in fact, are worried it will kill SEO and harm paid search advertising results. Faster recall of results won’t eliminate the art and science of SEO. But it could change the way words are prioritized in headlines."

My thought is also the same that this wont affect SEO in any ways..

 

It defiantly wont kill SEO if anything it will make it more important in that its far more important now to be in top 3 than before. People will quickly look at the top results and if they don't like they search again.

 

I'm not a fan of it. I keep it turned off. It's annoying to me to have stuff flashing in the background while I'm trying to type. Google Instant may be saving some people a lot of time, but it's wasting mine. I type at 100 words per minute and I go to Google knowing what I'm looking for. I don't a new guess for every letter I type.

 

I hate it .. better it turned off .. cause my slow connection speed...
but i dont believe it affecting SEO ... but it may decrease traffic (what's the difference if you looking for traffic)
... hehe

 

Google instant is freakin amazing!!!

To be honest I hate it as a searcher. I use it very frequently and I grew tired of it the very first day.

 

exactly happening with me ..so batter to turn it off ...bad luck Google this time since Bad Feedbacks are coming generally about Google instant

 

yeah i also dont foind it very useful sorry google but this innovation is not liked

 

This feature is just to give the rapid results to visitors, now the task of the seo's are just to evaluate the value of this algorithm ..

 

Google Instant is just to fasten up the search query. According to Google, it saves 5 sec per search query, which saves a lot of time. Most of people are unsure about their searches. So, Google Instant, will start showing quick results even before you end up typing your query, giving you better picture of what your query taking you upto.

Also, Google Instant depend on your internet speed. So, if u hv low speed. turn it off.

The google instant is right now live on Google.com, Google.co.uk and Google.co.au.. it is still in testing phase.
