If you look back over the past couple pages of the thread, you'll see RU is down for everyone. FS-IT is re-working the module and will have it back up by the end of the week.

As for downloads, are you getting an error? If so, what is the error?

 

Right now I'm getting around 140 KB/s but last night and over the weekend I was getting around 30 KB/s on FTP. I haven't been using FTP long but I usually get 150 KB/s with Filesonic. From what I'm hearing that's not very fast for FTP but the problem might by my isp even though I'm on broadband cable. Not sure if my router has anything to do with connection or speed either.

Yes the session disconnects but the file still keeps uploading and seems to finish successfully. I guess this is normal for FTP.

 

Please help me make this clear about the different programs what you can and cannot see. As I have read before you can't see your sales if you are on "pay per download program" but please clearify this. Can you see the number of sales you have but you can't see the actual value of each sale?
I'm asking this because I've been using filesonic for about 2 months now and I just have had a few sales, 10 to be exact and 3 of them are today! What does that mean? I havent uploaded anything new or promoted my files in any special way. I always had the intention to switch to pps program but have been waiting for Filesonic to sort out the bugs and become more stable.
If you are supposed to see both number of downloads and sales then the number of sales per downloaded files are really low. I use another service and if I compare Filesonic with that one I have about 90% less sales per amount of downloaded files.
Are my stats from today as it should be or is it a bug, or is it more likely I had a bug with my stats before and today is correct?
Hope you guys understand, I tend to make simple things complicated when I'm trying to explain.

 

Yes, you will be able to see the number of sales, but not their value. Too many folk would be confused if the value were visible and would unnecessarily pester FS for unearned payments. Take a quick scan through the thread to see what I mean.

You will also be able to see which files generated the sales and be provided with a link to the location where the sale originated.

Whether or not you've promoted the file recently, it can generate sales for you so long as the link is live. It is also possible someone linked the content and pasted your link somewhere else, thus promoting the file for you. Nice bonus, eh?

The site is as stable now as it was prior to the Aug 5th changeover. Post away!

Part of this could be explained by that fact that sales figures have not always been visible to those on PPD since the plan was implemented July 1st. You're not seeing the true total of your sales since that time. You also said earlier you've not been promoting your files recently. This will not lead to high sales figures.

 

Thanks for your reply. I kind of thought it had to be like that I'm not able to see all sales from the start. But from now will I see all sales I'm generating even though I'm on PPD?

 

I had 4 files pending in RU for like 4 days that I found had finished when I woke up this morning. Hopefully that is a good sign? I just tried to RU 1 smaller file as a test. *Fingers Crossed*

Has anyone else noticed that files stopped migrating from FTP to file manager about (2) hours ago? Thanks.

 

As the site is currently configured, yes, you will be able to see the sales figures we discussed from now on even if you are PPD.

You deleted them or they "disappeared" from your file manager? If the former, you're probably SOL. My sympathies.

im sorry to but my post here but because i like this company i use it for 2 months and now i get about 700 downloads daily can any one help me i want to get 3000 downloads by the end of this week plz any one can help me only pm me and im ready for every thing Thank you all

 

Yes. This happened to 1 of my files (400MB) about the same time. I assumed it would show up eventually but has not yet. Later files in my queue have shown up within the new 1 minute standard. Have not taken any action yet but will PM IT if persists; not so much as to complain but I'm sure they would be interested to know as may be sample of high load behavior.

 

This seems to be a common theme. I am on PPD but nevertheless wanted to say that I have never experienced frozen stats except for the period mentioned in the 12 August, 2010 news bulletin.

Stats seem ok since I have some sales. Some days I get nothing though.
