    If you don't have at least a minimum working knowledge think a book would be a help. Check your school or public library. The first book and only book I read in '95 was Lemay's Learn html in a Week or Seven Days. Can't quite remember. I am sure some are better than other's but you can get started real quick following the examples in a book.

    Also try "www.htmlgoodies.com" and "www.echoecho.com". Well just google "html tutorials" and you find lot of sites. :)

    Just have some good html wysiwyg editor like NVU (its Free ) , there is no need to learn html.
    Why don't you learn PHP which is now main language?
