Page Rank With or without WWW

Friends,
Recently my website got updated from N/A to Page Rank 0.When i check it in page rank checker tool if i i put my webiste without www its shown as Page RANK 0.But if put www its shown as page RANK N/A .Is there any issue?.Do i need to correct anything from my side?.How google will treat with www and without www Url?.Will it take another one as a duplicate contents?.

 

google treat www and non www as different domain, to solve this, you can use 301 redirect

 

Yes, For Google, both are different URL. To get rid of this issue, make a redirect from one domain to other. 301 is permanent and search engine friendly redirect and 302 is temporary redirect..

 

I think there is nothing to worry, as long as the url is working well with or without www, it is good,
no need to another other version. search engines may see it as duplicate content if both versions are submitted.

A 301 redirect should sort this problem out for you as Google does in fact take www and non-www URL's differently. If you create a 301 redirect to take non-www to www, when Google next updates their PR service on your URL's the PR Juice should be exchange to where you want it. Don't worry nothing is wasted. I always make a non-www to www redirect first when making a new site, because of this factor alone, good luck!!

 

In terms of backlinks and things like that, nothing to worry about bro ... just as long as your anchor texts are the same.

Other than that, index.html and index.php etc. are all the same things in ranking.

 

However, it will be better to redirect them since it directly affect the SERP as well

Seems like the the backlinks are splitting into two versions..i suggest to redirect your non-www to with www version to get things right..

A url that has a www and non www is considered as a different domains.
You have to use redirect in order to let the spider know which url you prefer
