Quality Back links

Hi iam newbie for blogger.Recently google updated my page rank from N/A to 0.How many back links should i have for getting atleast page rank 2?.

 

You should have backlinks from other websites with higher PR than yours.

 

I will advise you not to worry about how many backlinks you need to have PR2.

If gaining PR is your focus, keep building your backlinks and with time, you will achieve your goal.

There are some schemes on the internet regarding this but its not always about the number of backlinks. Its also about content. A website can obtain PR 2 without even having any backlinks.

 

Page rank is a mystery and inaccurate due to its lack of updating. Focus on creating as many links as you can from relevant sites and the rest will take care of itself.

 

To get a blog to PR2 is very easy, start with submitting your feeds to feed directories and write some unique posts and you can get PR2 fast

 

I have sites on page 1 in pretty competive keyword that are page rank 1, so that should not be your goal instead just concentrate on building one way back links from anchor text from relevant content. i can help if you like just drop me a note.

page rank is vanity, backlinks is sanity

 

To get PR2 you need to have at least 150 PR 1 backlinks. The high PR backlinks , the better is for your site and the easyer to raise your PR.

 

I doubt that you can backup this with any sort of proof.

 

quality is more important then quantity, get one high quality backlink from PR7 site, and you will get PR2

 

While it is a mystery, there is no lack of updates. Google keeps your PR up-to-date in their systems. It's just the toolbar that they don't update often. Your site could be showing PR1 but if you've put in the work, Google may have you up to a PR3 in their system right now.

 

It all depends on how many links your competetors have, Ryan Diess has a good tool named "cherry picker" it will to you how many links the top 30 sites have in given keywords. good luck!

 

Update your blog regularly, write unique content and submit your feed in feed directories, bookmark your post that helps to increase visits and pr.
