Alright guys.. I need some info as this section is surely visited by many people who must have tried and done related things before. I have a verified paypal from some 2-3yrs. Have been withdrawing money to my HDFC bank account from approx same time and money gets moved easily (in 2-5days). What i am doing right now is to add another bank account of SBI, for withdrawals. Now the TWIST : As you know, when you transfer money from PayPal to India, PayPal would pre-populate the surname field for Bank account holder (though you are free to use any First Name). So if you are planning to remit money to some relative who share your surname, it is technically possible. Right? Thats what i am trying to Do. here is the example with fits in my case: Say my name is "ABC Sharma" my relatives account is "XYZ Sharma" The relatives SBI bank account which i am trying to add has name of "XYZ Sharma" When i try to add a new bank account, paypal has fixed my surname field which is "Sharma" and asks me to enter the first name where i can add "XYZ" instead of mine "ABC" Will it work out in the end? or it will be 250 back charge? What do you think or experienced? ONE MORE THING SBI branch account numbers are 11 digit in length But Core banking has 6 zeroes before it to 17 Digits. Should i add the 17 Digit or the 11 Digit account number while adding that account? Kindly let me know what you know about the issue. I Request all having Used Paypal to SBi account themselves. Naysayers and Newbie..Kindly refrain from posting! Thanks in advance
practically u can do this by modifying the bank . pp allow to modidy the first name to avoid any minor mistake in bank name. add core banking account number with ifsc
Actually iam not talking of modifying anything. I am talking about adding a bank account. There is surely option of adding a new bank account in paypal (and using more than 1 bank account for withdrawals). So have you or anybody done such thing before? Did it work out? And are you sure we have to enter 17 digit account number with those 6 "0" digits in front??? have you added your account like this successfully? Bcoz whatver i read over net ...say that better add 11 digit account number only. Hey SBI-PAYPAL guys?? where are you?
@ rahuldas. Have you added your sbi account successfully this way? without using 0's? Have you tried the withdraw to a relative (with same surname ) thing?
withdraw to similar surname works if the amount is not bigger otherwise u will see Notification of Limited access mail.
Come on guys... this is not that a difficult question. I am sure some one must have tried. Surely, if i dont get any help, i will try out myself and post the results, but info before would be gr8!
I once got a mail of limited access for loggin in thru a different IP of same state (same country). I supplied Real documents as account is all for legal usage and purpose. (not for doing the tricky stuff) Why will they liimit again? and esp. why if i withdraw to that different name with similar surname? I think it they allow the addition of that account, then in thier record, it in fact is MY another BANK account . They should take it just like my previous bank account (which is already working normally in my paypal account) and should let me withdraw normally? isn't it? Do you have a SBI account yourself or did such thing before?
Hey,what you are trying to do is adding multiple accounts with different users and it is not possible in any case.I got your point but simply its not possible and if you do try this then be ready to loose your 250 bucks. I had a nightmare while withdrawing with SBI so sticking with HDFC which is tried and tested.
See for adding SBI a/c in paypal, do not add 6 ZERO and simply enter you 11 digit a/c number mentioned in cheque book
