I need to clarify the technical support

 

i haven't read your whole thread to know what people think but to be honest, in all the filehosts i've been working with your file manager is the worst, why can't i upload folder via ftp, why does it only upload files, it's really a pain to scroll all the page looking for the files i want, check them than get the code, i mass upload big video collections with different filenames and u an imagine how hard it is to get the files, also statistic page is stupid, why can't u just show next to each file howmany times it's been downloaded instead of complicating things and wasting time with heavy loaded pages, other than that i think u got the best payment rates out there, but again your site is so painfull to work with

 

Although extensive, nothing you have posted proves FS's stats are wrong. All they show is that more downloads are going to FileServe and TurboBit. True, FS's stats could be off, but it could also be determined from the data that your downloaders simply chose to use the other hosts instead of FileSonic. This is what happens when you mirror. Once again, I would suggest you post a few new similar files without the FileServe and TurboBit mirrors. If the downloads stay flat, the case for missing stats is strengthened. If the downloads jump up, you have an indication that downloaders are simply opting for the other hosts when you provide a choice. You then would need to decide whether you prefer to provide mirrors or prefer to drive traffic to FileSonic. Personally, I prefer to drive the traffic to FileSonic and only use mirrors on a small percentage of my posts to generate search engine hits.

Edit: Thought of one other suggestion. Look at the places you are posting your links. Which hosters seem to dominate. If you're posting your links in a forum which has a greater percentage of FileServe links as opposed to FileSonic links, you are naturally apt to see more FileServe downloads when you mirror. Forum members are going to tend to stick with the host with whom they have the most familiarity. Thus, if you wish to push traffic to FileSonic in such a scenerio, you would again drop the mirrors.

 

While I would agree with your observation that the file manager needs improvement I think you need to go back to your first sentence and heed your own advice. If you read back though even the last week of the thread, you'll not only come to understand the file manager is not a priority at this point, but also to understand why this is so. FS is rightly insuring stability and reliability first and foremost. Secondarily, they are working on FTP and RU. While work on the file manager would be great, it is a distant priority in regards to the servers, FTP and RU. I'm happy to give them the time to do this and wait for any modification to the file manager.

Minimum payment is $15 USD and payments are only made on Fridays. You will not receive a payment until you have earned that amount (filesonic.com/affiliate-program).

It would appear that your earnings only totaled $4.75 when scheduled payments were made Friday is that correct? If such is the case, you will need to wait until next Friday to be paid even if your total earnings exceed $15 now. The "Total paid in USD" is only a clercial column. If that is the amount you earned last week, it will simply be added to your earnings from this week on the next sceduled pay date (Friday Sept. 24th).

how does switching between earn from sales or downloads work, for example in a day i'll upload something that i know it sell premium account and the next day i'm just uploading stuff that'll only bring downloads, can i switch between the two methods on a daily basis

 

You could switch hourly if you so wished . The change is also instant. Just know that your status is applied to ALL files on your account, not just the files you upload while in that mode. For instance, if you are PPD and decide to switch to PPS. Following the switch you upload (10) files you think will generate premium sales. You will not be paid for any downloads from any files since you are in PPS and will only receive earnings from sales, both on the (10) newest files you've uploaded and on all other files. If you then decide to switch back to PPD, you will receive no earnings from sales. Not on your old files and not on those (10) new files.

In short, once it becomes profitable for you to switch to PPS, it is generally more profitable for you to stay in PPS and not switch back and forth. Files that generate sales tend to generate sales not only shortly after being uploaded, but continually into the future. If you frequently switch back to PPD, you will also miss any renewal sales which are made while you are in PPD mode. These renewals will accumulate the more and more sales one has. Not many folk would wish to miss out on the renewals.

As I told you before, FileSonic is not a pay on request filehost. It does not matter that your earnings went over $15 today. You will need to wait until Friday Sept 24th for payment with everyone else.
