Social bookmarking / networking and backlink

Hello

I have a question about backlinks. If I add my site to the following sites

Facebook
Twitter
Delicious
StumbleUpon
Digg

does it means I will get 5 backlinks?

it totally depend on google that how relevant it considers the link.Just submitting a site to the source doesnt means that you have created backlinks.

 

Not necessarily. delicious, digg, and stumble will provide backlinks pretty quickly. twitter and facebook, not so much. Most outbound links from Facebook or Twitter are never indexed. If that were the case facebook would have billions of outbound links. They only have billions of inbound links. You can get outbound links from both though it takes popularity and relevancy only people like USAToday and NBC or extremely popular websites have.

 

Normally we can say ..you get a back link but if Google not index ..then its not a backlink ..

 

yep! but some of em are nofollow

 

I use dofollow site to get backlink and I say no backlinks with nofollow site like facebook, twitter, but yes for digg and technorat

I think you would receive at least 4 backlinks via profile pages on 4 platforms except facebook. Also, links from your posts on stumbleupon, digg, delicious and twitter would also be treated as back links, of course with different weight.

Delicious & Digg get indexed very quickly. Facebook nothing and the rest have weak weighting

 

Yes you will get the links ... but value of facebook and of twitter are very less.

Instead of that hire someone who can provide professional social bookmarking to you.

You will get backlinks, but it depends on the relevance (google will determine that). I suggest you getting a social bookmarking service unless you want to do it by yourself (you need TIME).

I recommend lesser known sb sites like mr wong, squidoo, diigo, digg, propeller with new and different links to different pages on your site every day

Facebook or Twitter provides a lot of traffic in fact, whether other social sites are responsible for providing backlinks.
So, Its not necessary you got 5 backlinks.

 

no it means you just submitted website in 5 website but your website can't get 5 back links because its very difficult to generate quality backlinks.
