I can disagree a little bit, because "Sports Gaming" is more competitive keyword, than "Sports Gaming Zone", so for achieving good results in first keyword you must make more SEO work, than in the second example.

You will. But basically, your results will be different for the exact keyword and for the broad search.

Yes Dear. If you use a Keyword Phrase rather than a single keyword it also beneficial to your keyword.
As you are choosing "Sports Gaming Zone" will also effect on the results for "Sports Gaming".

Your keywords play a large part in determining where in search rankings you will land, and they also mean the difference between a user’s finding your page or not. So when you are picking keywords, you want to be sure that you have selected the right ones.

    Help Please!

I set up wordpress blog. Built it around 3 keywords. Google doesn't show any of the keywords in there list yet. I have no backlinks showing yet.

But Google shows another keyword related to site in there list of keywords on site and I'm second position on first page.

What happened? Why don't they show the keywords I targeted? The 3 are all comprised of 3 words each.

    Thanks for help!

Yes you can get good rankings for both keywords but for that you need to get good quality links for both keywords.

Yes you can rank for both. But you'll need to make sure you're using good on page optimization in addition to off page optimization (backlinks)
