What to do in this situation

    Hello there DP'ers,

I don't know if this is the right section or not. Well, recently I put up my site for sale on the site section and someone bought it using the DP bidding system. I'm actually not used to this system.

The point is, he won it, and I sent him pm to request payment. So far I have sent 3 pms with no reply. I saw him online many times. What do you think I should do? I don't really like people bidding for fun because I need to unload this site fast. Is it against the DP rules? Any action can be taken?

Hope to receive some reply :)

ouch! you easily trust that person. did you have a contact number of him? or some information about him? or else, you will lost your site. i am thinking if you can report it to police but how come if you doesn't have any information about him?, or contact the administrator of the site where you always see him online, report him to the admin and maybe they will punished that person.

No no, I haven't transferred anything yet. I'm quite used to selling website. It's just that, he had won the bid but didn't reply my messages. I don't know if he still serious about the site or not. Is there any action to be taken against people who do this. Really hate it when people bid for fun.

Don't you have knowledge of iTrader!

If yes, then that guy may have some iTraders, if they had good reputation with iTraders then he or she may be serious person but why that guy did that, I don't know.

If the guy is with good iTraders then complain about it here any where in DP forum by doing this people would be aware of that ID also give him or her negative marking!

Dude, I do know of Itrader. You can't just give negative itrader to people. That is just for transaction. So far, this guy have one negative Itrader but that is because of private message spamming. I want to give him negative Itrader for this transaction, but I need to know if it is against DP rules for "not serious bidding".

I am sorry to tell you, currently there is no rule like that in DP. I am also victim of fun bidding. Many times i got bidding from some persons, when i ask for payment they will never respond to me. So now i post in thread only serious offers, so only interested person will bid.

Try to contact him again. If he didn't respond there is no way. Cancel his bid.

Allright, thanks for the reply. I'll see if he will reply when he online next time. Do you think I can give him negative itrader for this. I consider this as transaction though

Report it to mods that he didn't buy even after winning it. :)

This happened to me a lot of times, it's inevitable in case of irresponsible buyers come messing up with your auction.
