No it doesn't affect search engine indexing.

A bounce rate - as defined by Google Analytics:

Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors. The more compelling your landing pages, the more visitors will stay on your site and convert. You can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy.

It does not influence rankings or indexing. There has been much speculation that Google interprets your bounce rate as a ranking variable but in order to do that they would need you to have Google Analytics installed or else estimate a bounce rate for sites without GA installed.

A bounce rate is the difference between visiting of customers between two days. It doesn't affect ranking or indexing.
The higher the bounce rate, the higher the traffic as compared to other days to which it is compared.

If a visitor visits your site and bounces back if he doesn't liked your site then your bounce rate will increase.
Ans if he does stays on your site for a long period of time then bounce rate of your site will decrease.
    I hope its clear now.

Bounce rate happens when visitor(s) visit your site but never stay long enough to view your landing page. This happens because your keywords are not relevant to your landing page.

Thats not the definition of Bounce Rates..LOL!!!
Total time spends on site by a visitor and how much pages a visitor visits and visiting time length counts for bounce rates from analytics.
