My blog is not Reflected in Google

Rank Tracker is a tool that shows where your blog is ranking at Google, Yahoo and Bing for a specific keyword.

One blog of mine ranks on the first page of google, number 8 specifically, for a particular keyword, according to Rank Tracker.

But when I look up the keyword at Google and checked my blog, it is nowhere to be found.

This is also true with few other keywords of mine.

How is this so? Any similar experience?

Manually check and make sure your onpage seo is optimised for the keyword in meta tags, titles, content etc.

If that's anything like Rank Checker by seotool.com, then it only checks the first 200 results or so. Do a search for site:yoursite.com and if you get results then do a search for your keyword and try to find your site. I don't know how old your site it, how well you did you on page seo, how well you've been doing your off page seo, frequency of updates, quality, etc but if you haven't been keeping up with the site then it's probably buried on Google. I just had a website sitting at #6 for a keyword for a few months. I stopped working on it to work on another project and just let it sit. After about a month and a half it disappeared to page 18.

Manually check for your keyword's ranking on SE's,before checking clear all the browsing history and logoff from your e-mailing accounts.

Use webmasters tools to check the average rank of your page it is much more accurate. I would always suggest using a private browser window, such as Google chrome Incognito. These make sure that your cookies and previous browsing history are not affecting your search results so you get a true reflection of where you rank. Also some programs like rank checker use a US based google database search, so if you are looking on a search engine other than in the US you will get different results.
