Can Google crawl nofollow link

Can Google crawl nofollow links?
If yes, is it same as dofollow links?
If no, is it dead link?

Google index nofollow links and the best example is you can see your facebook links in Google SERP, twitter links in Google updates which are nofollow. But the main problem with nofollow link is that, the PR juice will not passed from the host page to link page.

Google crawls nofollow link. I wouldn't say that it doesn't pass any PR juice. It does and it is experimented. Just a lot lesser than dofollow links.

No, Google will not crawl No-Follow links but it certainly will give some importance to those links.

 

Google can crawl a 'no follow' link but stops following it once it finds the link and does not transfer PageRank or anchor text across these links. But no follow links have value, links from high quality blogs or sites ( irrespective of 'no follow' or do follow) can drive good amount of traffic provided you contribute something for the site by sharing your knowledge or sharing something useful . secondly, if you acquire only 'do follow' links , the link building might not look natural to Google, so a combination of backlinks with a few no follow links is recommended.

Google doesn't follow 'no follow links' but can crawl and find them, there is a difference between following and crawling and find it. You can read what Google says about 'no follow' link , i have given a link in my post above. Google says it doesn't follow 'no follow' links and doesn't say it doesn't crawl and find it. How would Google decide a link is 'no follow' or ' do follow' before finding them?
