Hi experts, is there a tool which tracks my link building efforts? Something which shows the amount of links over time, possibly with PR information etc. Thanks!
Webconf's tool is really, really handy. Here's a couple other free linkbuilding tools. None will replace normal hardwork and normal linkbuilding.
The best tool I have is an excel spread sheet that I use and record everywhere I have been, when I was last there, etc. You will never truly be able to keep track of it. If you submit good, quality content, then other may pick it up and next thing you know, you have more links
I totally get what you mean. My site can help you out big time. its called seo cockpit. It's an seo tool that tracks all of your seo stats, which includes your rank on all major search engines, PR, pages indexed, spider visits. You can add all your websites in this software and it can automatically check your stats for you. It sends you an email if there happens to be a change in your rankings. Check out my signature to bring you to the tool.
Track google keywordtool and webmastertool. there are lot of options most of them are't known. So try those free tools.
You can use Google Webmaster, Yahoo Site Explorer, Google Search Engine to get the backlinks towards your website.
@ seoexpertuk, i do agree with you. Backlink watch is really a good tool to check what keywords your competitors are targeting.
