LOL...in some cases, an N/A is better than a 0. At least an N/A stands for not sure yet...

Calm down people, this has been happening to everybody for the past 5 months, seems like Google is working on something... but then again, you could have gotten the Google slap ;)

Hrm, my newest site has a PR 1, and an alexa rank of N/A. Well, when I say 'newest' I mean I've had it for 7 years and only just put some half-decent content on it this week. I'm amazed it ranks as high as 1

I have checked in various aspects and see no reason for any penalty. I assume your ranking is still the same but only PR dropped. The only one suspect factor I have found on your page is the content. Your homepage does look like an MFA (Made for Adsense) website. Only keywords stuffed and Adsense plastered all over the place with little to no original content on it. I suspect this penalty made manually by human checking and not an automated.

My site just dropped from 4 to 0 overnight also, and there's no apparent reason. We'll be a year old next week, we've been a 4 since about our 3rd month. We follow all the rules. A few of our inlinks probably aged out of the google index, but when we do a links:sitename search, we still have well over 1,000 inlinks - all real, no link farms, 80% of them are from pagerank 5 or higher. We have original content, our site functions great, good load time, all other factors as good as ever. It doesn' make any sense for it to drop to an absolute 0 overnight. Even if they changed some aspects of measuring, wouldn't it be more reasonable for ranking to drop a little, rather than disappear all together? It makes it very disheartening to also be using googe adwords -- why invest when the more I invest the lower my ranking? This is very disheartening.

Should we resubmit our site for another google index and maybe google is doing something that requires a new index, or would requesting one after we've been in the system for so long be bad?
