How much does it cost to achieve a PR6 by directory submissions only?

How many Paid Directory listings are required for getting a Pagerank of 6?

Does anyone have a rough calculation like X number of PR4 Drectories, Y number of PR5 directories and Z number of PR6 directories before a new Site gets a PR of 6?

Basically how much does it cost to get a PR of 6 by directory submissions?

Don't think it can be done, unless you are getting listed from the index page. In which case its not so much listings as partnerships, that you are after.

Point is your list must be on PR6+ webpages.
    I think its very difficult.
    It will cost in thousands.

I dont think this is possible ...
by directory submissions you get listed on internal pages and in many old directories... you get listed on 15th page.... there is no chance that will give you any help in PR.

well if you buy featured links and homepage links in some 500+ PR4+ directories... i think u will get PR6. Just a rough estimate

    regards

PR is an exponential scale. The difference between PR 6 and PR 5 is (much) greater than the difference between PR 5 and PR 4.

*If* you got a few dir links on PR5 pages (that had few other links), you would still be hard pressed to obtain a PR6 for your page IMO. Most cat pages in directories have far less PR to "pass on" than that.

Unless you manage to get a listing in a high PR, unpopulated cat at dmoz or Yahoo!, I don't think you will get PR6 by directory submissions alone.

I just got a PR6 link for one of my clients site from a premium site , it didnt cost me a penny. Of course I cant tell you where. The point is, if you think outside the box and dont just directories, you can generate good PageRank without spending thousands of pounds.

COmpletely agree with that.. and usually very commercial and famous sites or popular blogs have PR of 6 and above..

Have you also noticed that most of the websites of the so called SEO experst have PR5 or PR4 ..all of them

You can get listed on directory pages with PR 5 costs around $35 and PR 4 costs around $25, prices for regular permanent links, internal directory pages of PR6 are very very rare.

    20 pr5 ($35) = $700
    50 pr4 ($25) = $1250
    Total = $1,950

you could get a pr 5 for $250-500

    a 6 would be a lot more expensive, I'd say $1500-$2000

Depends on how many strategies directory owners got up in their sleeves ;)
Some guys just have to put the link of their directory is sitewide with their other directories so they get PR4 or PR5, after to get PR6 you just have to spend 1k$ and you'll be fine, but a PR6 costs while you can get a PR5 for free if you have time to build links :p

all you need is 40 good pr 5 links with less than 20 outbound links per page and you will get a 6. Of course finding that many pages from a directory will not be easy, but can be done.

Very hard I searched almost all directories available and found around 25 pr5 pages with less than 20 outbound links, for promoting a directory this value will vary depending on the type of site

True. But you need to be able to find a lot of links from varies sources, some probably won't even cost you a cent if you know what your doing. But you want to pay it will cost $1250.

    Assuming
    Yahoo
    Dmoz
    Botw
    AliveDirectory
    AvivaDirectory
    Site-sifte
    ....
