Conference Packages Through November 17 After November 17
    Platinum Passport
    (Dec 4–7, 2006)
(includes Expo Hall Pass) $1,695 $1,795
    Any One Day Pass
(includes Expo Hall Pass) $595 $695
Expo Only Pass Free In Advance ($25 On-Site)

what is the difference? and why would there be a price for 25.00

i think i would do the 595.00 one but what is so special about the 1,500.00 one?

Well im still getting in even tho im not 18 Because im a business proffesional :) I got my business card LLC and a photo id. So Im going to go talk to them over the phone.

You still won't be able to get in, you need to be 18. There's no bending the rules on it.

This thread should be moved to the Search Engine Optimization forum. (Thread reported to be moved.)

I wouldn't pay a dime to get in. That's like advertising on a PPC search engine nobody knows about and that nobody uses to me.

    :)

what exactly do you want to get out of it?

the pubcon that is coming up in november is cheaper and really good too. ALso its in las vegas so hotels are cheaper.

I think pubcon is only like 800$

I want to learn some new things, There is always stuff to learn meet some other people in the business. Also I like that kind of stuff. Does Pubcon allow all ages as long as they pay?

If it's in Las Vegas, then I doubt it. You have to be 21 to do just about anything there. But I don't know for sure.

edit: http://www.pubcon.com/register.htm It doesn't say anything there about age restrictions.

Good, because it wouldnt be in the casino area anyways. Conventions are normally held inside of hotels.

But I want to do something that goes into search engine marketing and email marketing.

    then you need to understand

SES = corporate white hat the way its supposed to be done

pubcon = people talking about the way it IS done

there are a lot of promotions and stuff its best to get in good with a company and see if they can hook you up. I know the last 2 conferences i went to that I paid full price for there were peope there that were like "ohh we had 2 passes we had to pitch cause we didnt know anyone" i mean thats thousands of dollars for ses =P

Cool. My wife and I are very excited about making it to Pubcon this year. It will be our first. I had to trick my day job into thinking I'm going on vacation... though my day job won't be my day job for very much longer... ;-)
