That's a great question. I see some "Special" people able to spam ALL their links in Yahoo answers and they don't get banned(of course, some are marketing gurus and I'm SURE they pay a ton of money to yahoo, so Yahoo doesn't want to lose their business).

I went on Yahoo answers ONE time, cuz a question showed up in results for something I was looking for.

Now, get this. I answered the person's question, IN GREAT DETAIL. It was something I knew something about...songwriting and recording songs at home on a computer.

I gave about 10-15 tips, COMPLETE tips. I also only put ONE link in the answer to an absolutely FREE, open source piece of software that would save them about $100.

I didn't have any other link. I didn't even have a link in my profile set up, and the only link I did have, like I said, was to a free program...a direct link, not any affiliate link whatsoever.

I got banned for violating their Terms of Service. I asked why they never did answer me back, and unfort. the person who asked the question, I'm not sure if they even saw my answer, because it was removed.

So, I never tried Yahoo answers again...cuz that's just plain wrong

You can only appeal, if your appeal is reject then you might consider to set up a new account or leave them

we share the same problem. My account was suspended sometimes in Nov. and up to now the suspension is still on.

I was told that I went against the TOS

So the best thing for now is to use another account

Yahoo answers are not shit. From yahoo links you will have to wait for a long time for good results. Always try 1-2 links when your account is active for links.
