Next PR update

I can see changes in PRs of some of my websites here.

How often does Google update websites' page ranks?

 

The concensus is that they update it regularly (every two weeks or so?) INTERNALLY for their algorithms and serps calculations, but they stopped publishing the value to to toolbar that regularly back in 2004 or so..

Now you only see the updated value on the toolbar about three or four times per year. I think this was an attempt to get people to stop fixating on PageRank value and trying to manipulate it. i.e. if you get feedback in 1-2 weeks instead of every 3-4 months you would have a much better idea of what is working when trying to manipulate it.. hope that makes sense.

Has the PR been updated yet? Some are saying yes others no.... I thought it was going to be oct 10

Some are showing up PR 3 others PR 1 ... what does that mean?

 

It's in the process, some data servers are updating but some are getting there. The toolbar shows sometimes for me but not all the time yet. In a few days I'm sure it will all be updated.

 

I hope so buddy, some of my smaller sites are now PR3 or 4 but the daddy of my sites is still a PR3 and it should be a 5 or even 6 on update.

 

I'm looking forward to this update, however I haven't seen any signs of change for my site yet. I'll keep waiting to see what happens.

 

so, we're underway on a google pagerank update?

I ask this, cuz I don't have any updates on my page rank, and I've got quite a LOT of backlinks.

 

It's taking too long to be a PR update IMHO. It's very weird. It's almost like they are testing the water and halted propagation.

site 3 pr5 now a pr7

Man i love google when they dont sh*t on me....

 

The results do appear to have stopped propagating across the DCs over the past twelve hours or so. Maybe the folks at Google changed their minds ...

Has anyone actually seen a new toolbar PR yet?

 

My Sites have Neither Increased or decreased in PR
If they Have/Have Not updated is still not known .....
Seems to be taking a very long time if they are ..

 

When using this tool: http://livepr.raketforskning.com, what does it mean when it says, "Cached: No" ?
