Google ads at digitalpoint

I see the google ads up top of the digitalpoint site, but I was wondering, why are those not considered to close to the menu?

A lot of advertisements like that get the advertiser banned due to the advertisements being to close to the menu and generating invalid clicks.

I do not think that the digitalpoint ads are meant to fool people into clicking the ads.

A lot of people do not have that intention, I don't think they are meant for that either. Google is very strict though!

I didn't know that was what I was getting at. I was getting at the position of the advertisement reflecting invalid clicks.

The advertisements that are here on the Digital Point site are clearly different to the rest of the website design; so i see no reason for google to have an issue with them.

i think that after the client had passed a certain level it does not matter anymore! i usually read an online newspaper at coffe breack and that newspaper have something like 200.000 visitors in a day but 80% of it's content is very close to adult content! they have google ads displayed on their website!isn't that against google rules?? That means only one thing: if you are big you have nothing to worry about! ;)
