I have a client who has basically reached the max potential with Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, etc. The client's site is great in terms of SEO and all the usual marketing techniques (social for example). I now need to find alternative sources of traffic which my client can pay for (his budget is very large so the expense is not a problem). Has anyone got any recommendations on getting large volumes of paid traffic? Thanks guys.
Depends on your target market...You need to know that first. Traffic in general doesn't equate to sales. Targeted traffic is what you want to focus on. Paid traffic in general is not very effective with the exception of PPC. It's much better to spend your advertising budget on outsourcing... Depending on the niche, definitely Facebook. If you market with Facebook, you can target the specific group of people you need to get sales. I would even try a cpm campaign with Facebook, because usually when I advertise with them, the conversion rate is high.
How about a viral campaign? Brazil seems the perfect sort of place to viralize...(New word? ) This would probably involve engaging a video production firm, but since budget isn't an issue that should be ok! You will need to create a pretty comprehensive plan on how to get your campaign to actually go viral, and this will definitely involve social media, so maybe build your campaign long term starting with a solid social media grounding.
Most of the times I have been targetting some facebook groups with high number of likes or members. I also go to the site fiverr.com where all the items are sold for $5 only. This is definately can get you cheaper deals and huge amount of traffic.
