If you have a medium size project. Which one will you prefer? A team or individuals?
Sometimes people prefer to hire individuals from different regions rather than to go for a team from a specific company. I think to develop a project or a business we should always prefer to hire a team.

    What do you think?

Well, if you hire a team to do the same jobs then things start to really get screwed up. If you need, for example, a program work, then design work, then layout work, etc. Then its best to hire 1 for each job.

Also you have to keep in mind that finding good workers is tough. At digitalpoint when you look for professionals people reply you "Pls gimme job, please now":)

If you hire a team you normally are also hiring the overhead of a team leader but that team is used to working with each other, know each others practices, have the processes agreed etc.

If you hire a group of individuals you can save on the management element by doing it yourself but your going to have to spend more time defining and agree a lot of things.... for a basic example, is it the designers or the developers job to create the HTML from the PSDs? What are your naming conventions for stored procedures between your DBAs and Developers?

The best way by miles is to create your own team . There are many young talents willing to work for pennies . Getting a small 3-4 man team of specialists will get you fantastic results . And there will be someone out there to perform maintenance and to update daily . If you're considering a medium size project this is the way to go .

It takes a about two weeks to get a crack shot team together and the results will come in days .

I suggest to hire a team or an outsourcing companies. - I suggest to hire a Staff leasing company instead of a freelancer. because leased staff are permanent workers of a company and are easy to reach in case you need them. Freelancers do not have employers so they do as they please and sometimes cannot be contacted for various reasons.

Depends on whether you mean hire an established team - or create your own team.

    Also depends on the project.
