What type of websites are making a killing right now?

I remember that proxy websites were one of the most profitable types back in 2007,208 then movie websites etc.. What type of websites are the ones making a killing as of now?

 

Any one has any Idea about this?

popular websites doesn't mean profitable ones.. youtube? popular. but profitable? not as much. proxy sites and warez sites? sites i stay away all the time. porn sites, yea that always will live. in the end its not just about making a website like others, but making a uniqe one with a good budget.

 

I would assume porn sites are making some serious cash, now that they just have pop ups open as a tab now. Plus if you owned like 5 high traffic sites, running CPM ads would probably cover your rent/mortgage.

Anyway. I don't think affiliate sites are ever going to die, and honestly getting a commission is a really easy way to bank some quick cash.

Any site that has a enormous traffic because they can make a killing off advertising. So for example all the sites that I have been hearing about are like Facebook, MySpace and other social networking sites. However, remember it takes alot of time and effort to get these sites up and running.

 

Gaming site where games tend to be released constantly.

At present jobs category sites are being favorite.

I'm sure job sites are making a lot because of the economy. Like most people said, porn sites make a lot also.

Well, from what I see, those "file sharing" websites that pay when ppl download files that you've uploaded seem real popular. Like, uploading.com, sharecash, etc
