The best day of my life was when I met my partner in person. I'd known him online for years, but we were finally able to meet. I flew to see him and took an hour long cab ride - I was so nervous and the traffic was awful and I just wanted it to hurry up. When the cab was approaching his house I called him on his mobile phone from mine and as I got out of the cab he came came out of his house, we were still on the phone to each other, and we kind of stood there for a minute - just talking into the phone. Then we hung up and walked to each other and hugged and kissed for ages. I thought it would be weird, but immediately neither one of us was shy. We were just overjoyed to be together at last. The next 6 days were spent holding each other, making love and sharing a single bed every night. Then I had to leave but I came back a week later, then the next week the same thing. Then I moved in. It really was the best day of my life, I don't think any other could ever compare.
I'm gonna be totally cheeseball here but it's when my daughter was born. IDK what'll happen when I have my next kid. She'll probably get bumped down a bit.
Thank you Glad someone thought so, lol. I wasn't sure how well I explained it - but really, it was such an amazing thing to finally be together after all that time. We've now lived together for 3.5 years and I still regularly think of it and get a bit teary ^-^; As to your daughter, from what I know the first birth tends to be the most intense overall - but then for a little while after the second child it will seem more intense, then down the line it will change back again. I don't have kids - that's just what seems to be the common consensus with my male friends who do have multiple children
Today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever! There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! and because I did I'm going to celebrate!
