You can ask the creator of the product. He post here. I tried my hand with it, but the refunds were way too high for me to handle.

Its time to move to other products then. There are still some including mine offering 75%.

it says they pay 64%. if you are actually having problems with this vendor then just pick a new one. I see lots of vendors in the console guides and repairs paying 75% comission.

lol. I have created a few web 2.0 pages to promote his product. It used to be $20 per sale. But i got 1 sale from it a few days ago with only $2+ . That's why I said he reduced his commission to 1%. It doesn't effect me much as I seldom make sales from this product. Just curious to know the reason...

Anyway, I know the vendor is Robert(goal100k.com). I supposed he has seen this thread ? :) So... what's happening here? Robert?

    Wow, thats pretty extreme :)

just my opinion but I think I understand where hes coming from - with only ever having like 7 gravity hes never made much money off it so he figures hell turn the commission off and just bank a bit over the next couple of months... a bit backwards imo as not only will affiliates clock on and stop sending traffic, but they will boost his rivals, but even more importantly he will lose trust of his affiliates for future projects he might do... why would you jump on board with this guy if he might turn off commission with no notice...

On second thoughts hes probably trying to bring in extra cash for a couple of months before listing it on Flippa and flipping it for much more than it's worth... sneaky...
Maybe not, and would be interesting to hear Robert chip in with whats actually going on..

Take note new merchants.... That's one of the dumbest moves in the history of marketing. Especially if you're outed in an affiliate forum like this one. A few days of jacked up profits will never make up for the affiliate money you'll lose in the long run.

I agree, this is probably the stupidest thing you could do, and you'll lose money and credibility with such a move in the long run.

yeah this really fecks me off. I spent a bit of time optimising my site and have a great ranking for several keywords - sales are steady but the refund rate is astronomical - about 85% over the past 3-4 months - guess the product actually sucks. But the commission - well f@ck that - I'm off to promote someone elses product - just made another sale and bagged a whole $2.60!!!! - really he's taking the pi$$ out of a lot of loyal affiliates. What a w@nker!

Guys, game copy monster was previously owed by me and I have sold it to one of of my previous client. I don't know what the sh*t he is doing and I am completely shocked with his move.

I have contacted him and waiting for his reply to come. I will update here soon.

I take it this isn't a common practice - I didnt think it was even possible to reduce the commission unless you reduced the price? Ah well, you live and learn. Great idea if you dont mind pi$$ing folks off and you want to make some easy cash tho - I reckon its something that CB need to tighten up on.

Bro actually its nightmare for me, my reputation is on the line. I have to sort this issue in favor of we affiliates. At this situation, I am even ready to buy the site back to save my reputation.

I have forwarded, also I have told him further consequences.

Not all clickbank products keep a high gravity, when sales tank like it did for him, its time to make a new product...

Most people those who are angry with this decision of my client is because they have got nice ranking for product related terms and they cant just change the links. So new product is not a solution here.
