Hi everyone, I'm a Clickbank affiliate from Italy and recently I've cashed my first check. The problem is that I've cashed only the half! Can anyone knows how to solve this problem? Is there a service that can cash the check and then pay me through paypal or something similar? Or do I have to use another affiliate program?
Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about... Was the check a smaller amount then you expected? Or was it an issue at the bank? I know there are tons of European vendors/affiliates who use Clickbank and don't report any problems.
The clickbank check should be 250$, and it was 224$ instead (I think due to US taxes). Then, when I cash it from my bank, the amount was only 123 € (I think due to cash costs of an US check)
It looks like: Clickbank $250USD Payout: minus allowance: check amount $224USD You got: 123Euro (based on what you wrote) - converted from US. I suggest you learn about currency conversions.
This was probably a bank charge at your end for having to convert the cheque. I know we lost £10 each on cheques we paid in via clickbank - but get 2 more of them and you can setup direct deposit with no extra fees attached. Also the initial $250 it should of been to only $224 - this is probably just the reserve they keep for potential refunds - they always hold a little bit back like this, but if you keep making sales it will be made available to you, then theyll hold back more / a different amount based on your next recent sales etc..
Check with your bank. I'm from Europe too and certain banks charge up to 50 euros per check, you have to look for a bank that charges less. I personally pay 9 euros per check (whilst all the other banks charge more). I deposited close to 100 checks till now and I had to look for a bank that charges less right from the start.
Yes Clickbank takes a hefty 10% off every sales plus every check sent to you will be charged by the bank. If your current bank account is not in USD and automatically converted into your currency, even more loss will usually incur. So one of the better ways would be to require a check in huger amounts to lessen the cost, but of course that would mean greater commissions in the first place. Try out better converting products especially in the health niche.
I am interested in direct deposit as well, but as far as I know this option is not available in EU countries so far. Am I missing something? I've deposited more than 2 cheques.
It is available in some EU countries, but not all of them. Here's the list > http://www.clickbank.com/accounting.html#A3
