I had the same problem a couple of months ago. My site suddenly dissapeared from the first page, and I found out there was a redirect problem. (I moved some content from one site to another, dupe content etc). I fixed it, and the site came back. I even climbed a notch. Now the site is gone again. It`s still in the index, but nowhere to be found on my main keyword. What do I do now? I`m totally lost, and Webmaster Tools does not report any problems, except for a small one that have been there for months (404 on one page). The site is http://kredittkortsiden.net/
Your website has only 8 backlinks according to Google and only 7 months old. I am not sure what is a keyword you are targeting since the website is not an English. However, I would saying that you should acquire a much more quality backlinks from relative and under similar yours country. (Ex. If your website is Russian then you should acquire backlinks from Russian website to be most optimum.) Another suggestion is your title is too short and focusing too much on keyword. (If a word on your title is your targeting keyword) I would recommend you make title more appealing. Please be noted that not only good title could convince peoples to visit your website but also Googlebots and other search engine bots. They would prefer the content wrote in ordinary human reading format and not solely just for them.
Yahoo site explorer says I`ve got 349 links atm. Furthermore, I used to be on 4-5th place.. Something have happened to the site, and I just need a few tips what it might be. I don`t need help optimizing the site.. The short version: I used to be on 4-5th place.. So yes, I`ve done all that. Anyway, I found out there is a loading problem with the site, so this might be the reason why I lost ranking. The site (and all the other sites on the same hosting) have been running slow the last week or so, guess Google finally caught up with me. Trying to fix it now to by getting grid-based hosting.
Put the keywords back in my site? Huh what? The content`s got my keywords in it, I don`t insert the keywords afterwards (?).. About the redirect; I moved some of the content on one site to another, so I just had to put in a redirect for the urls that used to contain that content, sending people to my other domain.
Redo my content? And then use that site protection stuff you linked to? Why would I need to do that if no one has stolen my content? I dont have dupe content anymore - not like I used to, anyway, unless someone else have stolen it. Going to have a closer look at it later today, I'll get back to you with my "report".
