HDFC PIN Wrong entered..........

Hello all,
I am in India,
today I go to ATM to withdraw some cash and entered the PIN three times wrong.
What should I do now.
The Card is HDFC issued Master Card.
Please let me know what can I do in this situation????????

 

Call the number on the card. Probably the only shot. Some banks permanently cancel the card if the PIN is entered incorrectly 3 times.

 

Contact your branch staff and I guess... they will unlock the card for you. If you are not in regular touch with the staff, you may be required to show documents supporting your identity as proof!

Is this a big issue? Any card blocked will automatically be reactivated after 24 hours or by calling the customer care number you can get it reactivated

 

You need to reapply for the PIN.
Did you take your card back or the ATM ate it ??

 

I think you were using someone else's card?

You can use it again tomorrow after 12:00AM. And find the correct code to use it.

 

did you get your card back from the ATM or is it locked inside the ATM machine ?

 

Well, nowadays you won't find machines like that which gets card inside. And even when you put wrong card, it will come out.
So, no chance of the card being there.

 

I think you just need to call costumer support and get new pin

i wasn't aware of it ... and iam scared everytime i put in my Payoneer card

 

if you have used the HDFC ATM for the hdfc issued card, then no problems. if its other bank atm, the ATM may swallow your card.
i think you should be fine, even after entering wrong PIN 3 times. Just call the customer service and see if the card is still active.

Never ever enter a wrong password/PIN in ATM or internet banking for the 3rd time because usually services would be deactivated.
