Hey guys, I was just wondering, if i bought a domain for my brand, and then bought another one For the keywords i want to rank high in and then redirected the domain with the Keyword to the brand domain will that be helpful ? can the bots understand the redirect ??
No It wont Matter! You can also rank your website using your Brand... make sure that your Brand Name should have taste of the Keyword to have more Relevancy towards the Keywords
Bad news: Having two domain names doesn't help you at all with your ranking. Good news: it might be a smart move to develop two different sites, one with each domain name, so as to grab the top two positions for keywords where you don't have an excessive competition. This will help you grabbing more traffic than with just one site. I've done it for several keywords and it worth the additional effort. For one specific keyword I actually have four different sites on the first page, including the top three! (Make sure that you don't run them from the same IP, though).
