I'm new to filesonic, i was hoping the service were good, but i can barely connect to the FTP (limit of 80users), the files never goes in the file manager.. nothing works.
I really hope it'll be fixed soon otherwise i'll just leave.

Does anyone know how many people work there ? Cause there surely is a problem somewhere.

 

If you take a look over the last couple pages you'll see a new FTP module was implemented yesterday. It's going to take at least a day or two to shake it down. Give them the weekend and you should have a better experience. Welcome to FileSonic.

 

I hope you are right. They seem to have a good number of servers so they have the possibilities to make a good file sharing service.

Ftp upload error "80 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry" , and now, remote upload isn't working !

 

Command: USER xxxxxxxx
Response: 331 User xxxxxxxx OK. Password required
Command: PASS *********

ftp does not connect, it hangs on password

 

Even though they asked to use ftp.filesonic.com (which doesnt work), with s8.filesonic.com i can login, upload , and the files appear in the manager.

 

I don't know whether it is safe, but s8.filesonic.com works perfectly.

 

Yeah right now it works very good also very fast for me and file appears immeditaely in the file manager : )

Hi , no this is not normal for sure! But this is just for a test. This is why the limit is 80 users at a time.

Can't you do your tests on the test ftp ? (s8.filesonic.com) instead of the one that everybody use ?

 

FTP and earning freeze,
what happen?

 

Not only FTP. I already try the whole afternoon to upload a file as a web upload (either an error or a freeze at 100%). I created a bug but doubt this will help. And yes, RU is pending all the time.
Are there any more options to upload a file?
