I feel so used ...Have I been "smart targetted" and does anyone know any methods I can use to get a higher click revenue? Thank you. btw, the site i'm refering to is the first one in my sig. I just read "The less ads you display the better, too many will get you less value clicks..." I don't have any channels set up but would anyone recommend I remove the adsense ad unit I have at the very bottom of each page? my site
The theme is "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" . If you want, you can go to the site. It's the first link in my signature.
I'd recommend to remove all those ads , just leave a couple of ads and thats it ... I can't guarantee It'll help , but it did on my sites . The current clicks are worth around TEN times more than previous. Try it , if it doesn't help , you can always go back . You will have to put some thought into the block's location though , so you won't loose too much CTR ...
I have already said the adsense ads i related with the content and traffic of the site suppose if your site is anything related to baseball or some other sports you will get ads about that particular content the ads may be low value ads and you may getting less dollars even though you have high number of clicks the other reason is that Google displays ads according to no of visitors suppose you are having a 500 page views a day site you may expect a click to cost about $0.5 or above suppose you are having 45 page views site the pay per click may be as low as $0.02
TV shows is not a high paying topic in Google Adsense. On the other hand, sites in this niche can generate huge traffic. It's hard to get both the traffic and the expensive clicks at the same time.
That is already good to me. At least you are not getting one cent for each click like me in last week. I usually have maximum ads on my blog, which is 3, but since I've removed one of them, it increase to 5-10 cents each click.
