Please help me. Memory exausted error

    Whenever I install a plugin I get this error.

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 143385 bytes) in /home/xyz.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-http.php on line 1402

    i also increased php memory limit but the problem exists. Can anyone help me to resolve this problem??

    I have reinstalled wordpress and imported database many times but the problem still exists.

    it is because of more traffic than your hosting can provide you.in php.ini there is a parameter for max memory limit,for hosts like hostgator its set to 64mb,you can't increase it.

    the only way you can eliminate the error is remove more memory consuming plugins/codes or else get a VPS

    Try to add this line in you wp-config.php
